Let the adventure begin

Thanks for joining me and let me introduce myself.

I’m Amy, a 30 year old single mum to my 11 month old daughter, Lennon. We live in Victoria, Australia- one hour south of Melbourne with our 5 year old pug dog Ralph.

I love sunshine, coffee and a sneaky wine here and there. Attempting to live a life that is kinder to the earth and I consider myself to be a little bit spiritual.

I’m still on parental leave and plan on returning to work later this year. I’m a Youth Worker and I support homeless young people. I’ve been working in the sector for 8+ years so I’m hoping that by the time my little one is a teenager, I’ll be able to handle everything she throws at me. One can hope hey?!!

I’ve created this blog as a space for me to share my experiences so far as a mum, specifically a single mum and I guess we’ll see what else as time goes on.
